2. What data is processed and by whom

We (Bovotrade/BovoBot) do not create accounts, require registration, or profile users, and we do not run analytics.

Hosting provider server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically process minimal technical logs when you access this site (for example: IP address, derived country/region, date/time, requested URL, HTTP status code, referrer and user‑agent). These logs are used only for operating the service, abuse prevention, and security monitoring.

Retention. In line with our host’s standard practice, these logs are temporary and are overwritten or deleted after 7 days.

Legal basis (EU/UK GDPR). Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running a secure, reliable website. For other regions (e.g., US, APAC), processing is limited to what is necessary to operate and protect the service.

3. Cookies & tracking

We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross‑site tracking cookies. If essential cookies are ever required for basic security or functionality, they will not be used to track you.

4. Data sharing & international transfers

We do not sell or share personal data. The hosting provider processes the above logs as our processor to operate the service. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) provided by the host.

5. Third‑party links

This site may link to third‑party services (for example, Discord). Those services have their own privacy policies. Please review them when you visit those sites.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. Because we do not maintain user accounts or analytics, we generally have no personal data to access or delete. You may still contact us to exercise applicable rights regarding any server‑log data that can lawfully be linked to you.

We take reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect the site. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

8. BovoBot risk & acceptance

Community project; free software. Bovotrade and its product BovoBot are free and community‑driven. We do not operate a brokerage, exchange, custodian, or money‑transmission service. We do not take custody of user funds or collect your exchange API keys.

User confirmation & assumption of risk. Before using BovoBot, the user must confirm the in‑app disclaimer. By downloading the software and connecting it to an exchange, you acknowledge that crypto‑asset, derivatives, and futures trading carries a high risk of loss and that you assume all risks, including those arising from market volatility; exchange downtime; API changes; latency; slippage; liquidation; and software bugs, crashes, or misconfiguration.

No warranties; limitation of liability. BovoBot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law worldwide (including USA, EU/EEA, UK, and APAC), Bovotrade/BovoBot and contributors shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the software or this site.

Waiver of claims. To the extent permitted by law, by downloading and using BovoBot you agree to waive any and all claims against Bovotrade/BovoBot and its contributors related to your use of the software. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain waivers, disclaimers, or limitations; in those places, this clause applies only to the fullest extent legally permitted.
