Terms of Use
These Terms govern the free Community Edition, which runs locally on the user's system. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
These Terms apply to the Bovotrade website, the local browser simulation, documentation, and the BOVOBot Community Edition. Responsibility for a specific web mirror remains with the person or entity that controls its domain, hosting, and delivery.
Bovotrade provides software, documentation and a space for exchanging experiences. Users trade exclusively on their own exchange accounts, choose settings themselves, start and stop locally and control orders directly at the exchange. The website does not accept user funds or exchange credentials.
The Community Edition is provided as a free technical download. Before delivery, the server verifies the published ZIP package against its documented SHA-256 checksum.
The Website and Community Edition are not directed to persons in the EU, EEA, or Mainland China and are not actively marketed or provided there. The Simplified Chinese translation is for language accessibility only and does not indicate availability in Mainland China. In every other jurisdiction, use is permitted only when local software, derivatives, tax, sanctions, export, and exchange rules allow it. Technical accessibility is not local authorization.
Individuals outside the EU, EEA, and Mainland China receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Community Edition for their own lawful purposes. Redistribution, public hosting, modification, and circumvention of technical protections are permitted only where mandatory law allows them or prior written consent has been given.
Software, documentation, default values, community contributions, signals, simulations, live tests and backtests are technical information. They are not individual investment, financial, legal or tax advice and are not a solicitation for a particular trade. Past or simulated results do not allow a reliable prediction of future results.
Before real funds are used, functions, settings, possible position sizes and loss paths should be understood in a demo, simulation or other controlled environment. The browser preview does not send orders and does not replace a real exchange test.
Users must be legally competent, check usage in their state, comply with exchange conditions, limit API permissions, leave withdrawal permissions disabled, check settings before launch, and monitor bot and exchange account. Confidential credentials must never be sent to a website or community.
Software and website may contain errors. Network, DNS, operating system, time, database, exchange API, WebSocket, rate limits, maintenance, liquidity and contract changes can delay, modify or prevent displays or orders. Exchanges and other linked services are operated and controlled by their respective providers.
Exchange APIs, contracts and technical requirements may change. Updates can add, modify or remove functions. Before an update, current positions and open orders must be checked directly at the exchange. Uninterrupted availability or ongoing maintenance is not guaranteed.
The applicable mandatory liability rules apply. No restriction applies to the extent that it would be inadmissible under applicable law, in particular in the case of intentional behaviour or damage to life and health. Blanket worldwide legal or liability freedom is not claimed.
Bovotrade is an independent software and community project. Gate.io, KuCoin and Bybit are not operators, publishers, sponsors, certifiers, auditors, or endorsers of the current release. API compatibility, exchange documentation, account binding, or a broker relationship does not imply approval. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; their conditions apply in addition.
Published checksums identify files but do not prove profitability, complete correctness, or complete security. BOVO-IR-2026-08-14-01 is an internal, scope-limited maintainer review, not an independent audit, penetration test, or exchange audit. The current scope and residual risks are stated in Security and Assurance.
